John Mulaney and Nick Kroll spent the majority of 2016 touring their Oh, Hello theater show, culminating in a critically-acclaimed run on Broadway in early 2017 and a Netflix special. The guys contacted me to create promo artwork for the tour. These are from the two Los Angeles runs.
At some point I hit on exploitation movie design tropes for Gil & George, and those worked so well that I kept the style for the majority of the artwork.
